Getting support in Devon

Everyone impacted by suicide will have a unique experience. Our bespoke service is for anyone affected by suicide loss within the county of Devon and is available for adults and children. We provide a non-judgmental space to speak with professionals, meet others affected by suicide and learn new strategies for adjusting to life after suicide.

We do not hold waiting lists so our support begins within 48 hours of you contacting us and we will stay by your side for as long as you need.

A one-to-one listening service

Meet regularly with a dedicated specialist, through face-to-face visits, over the telephone or even by email, whichever is right for you.

Practical advice and assistance

On issues such as: how to inform others of the death, dealing with the media, wills and probate, applying for benefits, funeral arrangements, inquest advice and support and/or anything else that is causing concern.

Additional support

Such as counselling, alternativetherapies, peer support and events & activities

Long-term skills

Regular workshops and learning events focused towards emotional and physical wellbeing

Grief Recovery courses

8 week courses which teach small and correct steps to resolve grief and say goodbye to the pain, isolation and loneliness caused by significant emotional loss
